Default Ram-Line Syn Stock on Rem. 7600?

After reading the replies to my thread on trimming my laminate stock for adding a recoil pad I'm now thinking about buying a Ram-Line camo synthetic stock and forearm to put on my Remington 7600 pump gun. Has anyone used a Ram-Line on this type of gun vs. a bolt gun? I wondered how the synthetic stock would affect felt recoil on the gun? I'm surethe gunwould be lighter, but it would have a rubber pad vs. the hard plastic one I have now. It is only a 7MM-08, but the felt recoil on the7600 is a little different from some of thebolt action rifles. Any thoughts are appreciated.

For all that is sacred and holy don't get a Ramline stock.

I have the weathermaster 7600, SS, black synthetic 06'. It is not Ram line. Save a couple bucks up and go w/ a Remingtonproduct? If you want camo synthetic can be spray painted and made any way you like it. Kinda fun as well.

I've got a Ram Line on my 7600 in .35 Whelen. It hits me a little harder than the wood stock did, but not enough to worry me. A 7mm-08 should be very easy to handle. 7600s are very accurate, and I've noticed little difference in accuracy either.

Spend a few extra dollars and buy the Bell & Carlson stock and forend, they are made of a kevlar wrap, they are more durrable and soak up recoil better than a regular synthetic, you wont be disappointed!.
