yah almost identical to a 308 or a 30-30 militery use it so yah woudn't buy one

The 30 TC is essentially a shorter 308, with ballistics that are a little better than the 30-06. Hornady and TC developed this cartridge and Hornady is the only one who produces any factory ammo right now.
