Well you have the chidren of the 30/06 like the 270 (which you have) and the 25-06.

Also all the children on the 308 like the 243,7mm08,260.. 6mm is a pretty neat little round also.

i voted for 3............the 300 win mag, the 270 wsm and the 264 win mag. all 3 great chamberings, just couldn't decide which was my fave.

.308 Win., light-recoiling round, hard-hitting, and accurate.

I also voted 7mm Rem. Mag.
Excellent long-range, flat shooting cartridge the 7mm Rem.is, somewhat noticeable recoil, though.
