Not to long ago I purchased a model 12 in 22-250, wondering if anyone here has had any luck with them and what kind of shot groups do you get with them? thanks
Just picked mine up during the week. Model 12 BVSS 22.250.
When I get it set up, I'll let you know. I heard lots of good things about the "out of box accuracy".
For the money,you can
t beat a Savage...I have
always loved them and
always will...I just got
the new Predator in 22-250..
With the federal factory in 55
grain if I do my part and hold steady
it will put 3 in the same hole or
just touching each other at 100 yd.

is the predator pretty much a 12 with that awsome camo paint job?
My dad and I have a savage model 12 in .223 but it's probobly 6 or 7 yrs. old.. shoots awesome groups..I just shot this past weekend and put 3 shot groups at 150 yards within a half inch..starting shooting 55 grain v-max bullets and that tightened the group up a little more yet.. i love it!!!

I set up a model 12 22-250 with a burris ffII 4.5-14x44 for my father-in-law a couple years ago. It shoots 50 gr v-max's real well. He hit a couple prairie dogs at around 325yds.
