i bought a 535 ats 12 guage and its pre drilled for scope rings so my question is when i mount the scope and sight it all in with the slug barrel and decide to go turkey hunting and take the slug barrel off and put the turkey barrel on to turkey hunt then when i go back to the slug barrel will it still shoot true or will i be better off buying the slug barrel with the cantilever on it then i know it will always be on with that barrel

Buy the slug barrel with the cantilever. When you take the scope off you will have to sight in every year.

Plus you are not going to get the sameaccuracy with the receiver mounted scopeas you will with a cantilever mount. Too much barrel movement on a shot gun to use a receiver mount for a scope. It's allways better to mount your scope to your barrel on your shot gun.JMO

the mossberg 535 comes with a cantilever mount on it so you shouldnt have to change the scope at all, so i dont know why you wouldnt have one on there

They dont all come witha cantilever. I was looking at one that came with rifle sights. It was all camo.

thanks for your input so now i have to buy the slug barrel with the cantilever on it thats about 180 through mossberg so if you know anybody who wants a rifled slug barrel with iron sights ill sell it for 100 its only a year old and mossy oak new break up
