Sako a thousand times over.

1" accuracy guarantee
Three large lugs instead of 6 or 9 little bitty lugs
Much smoother bolt operation
Bolt locks closed with the safety on but still allows you to unlockthe bolt by pushing a button in front of the safety and operate it with the safety still on.
Much better adjsutable trigger
Better stock design

SAKO...Weatherby's are a joke. My gunsmith once "blacked" all the locking lugs on a Weatherby rifle and then closed the bolt. Guess what? Several of the "locking lugs" never touched anything. Hopefully they might have snagged something and held before letting the bolt blow back thru a shooters head. But the bottom line is everything about Weatherby is hype and BS.

Being a proud owner of a few Sako"™s and with all the good points bigbulls pointed out my choice would be Sako, although I don"™t know too much about Weatherby and don"™t care to...
