Default Marlin 60 trigger

Is there a way to improve the trigger on a model 60? I don't know if its just my gun, but the trigger on it is heavy and has alot of creep.
Thanks HoytMt

I haven't had the guts to try it yet, if you do let us know how it works.

The trigger pull on my marlin 60 is pretty decent, it has some creep, but for an inexpensive rifle its not bad, and i'v been shooting it for years now. I have seen some of the older models that seem to have a heavy trigger though.

I don't know about for the model 60 but on my bolt action Marlin I replaced the trigger with an adjustable trigger and it works great. We messed the original trigger up trying to file it and filed a little too much.
