does anyone know of a manufacturer than sells the .50bmg round that's non-FMJ?

Most all the guys I know (which would be only three) that shoot .50s on a semi-regular basis handload ammo. One of them, who acctually uses his to cull deer with loads some super heavy soft point, no clue where he gets them. Loads them down to keep them sub-sonic. The results are somewhat impressive to say the least.

There is some ammo called Extreme Shock, not yet available at Midway USA, but it is a frangible bullet.

hornady makes a 750gr A-Max. its not a fmj but it is a match bullet so it may or may not expand

i think hunting shack sells something other than fmj's.

Barns builds an X for it . Barret sells about 5 flavors . Win/Federal I believe are gov. suppliers .
