Anywhere you can get a Tikka or Beretta you should be able to get one. They will prob have to order it. I have only seen the Sako TRG in stores. Actually i saw it at Cabelas in Hamburg last fall. I see Tikkas alot though. I actually just got a Tikka right before deer season.

You might try gunsamerica or gunbroker.com.Another place is MSN Sako owners forum.

If you have a cabelas close by, go into the gun library and ask them to do a search for the caliber and model that you want. There are still a few 75's kicking around. I bought mine for $940. I think the 85 are close to $1200. Sportsmans warehouse also carries them.

I would try Cott Firearms in Missouri or Gary Wink in Maryland. Both are standup guys and will treat you well. BOth also list guns on Broker from time to time.

For what it's worth, which is probably nothing, I'm under the impression that the 85's do not have a recoil lug. I've read that in the forums and when I ask my boss on his 7 08 he checked and it doesn't. It goes against everything I've ever known.I'm sure that Sako being the quality product they are would not do away with something like a recoil lug with out some really hard testing, but it just doesn't seem right.I've got 2 75's and a tikka. They shoot very well and yes his 7 08 shoots well with out one too. Just more to think about

You don't say what kind of Sako you are looking for but I have a Sako 75 in 300 Win Mag that is stainless steel in the wood stock listed in the classifieds.
