What a Ripoff

I have ordered a lot of things over the years from Midway. I normally did not shop a lot-I just assumed I was getting a decent price. UNTIL NOW.

I need a Warne 1 piece 20MOA base for a short action Remington. I went to Midway to order it. Their price was $104 dollars. PLUS shipping and handling. For a total of (I am not sure)???

I called a local small dealer I do business with and asked him to get me a price. Guess what his price was???? $63.75. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT. Midway wanted $40 more, plus S&H. I am done with Midway!!! Tom.

It's always good to shop around. I shop through Mid-Way too and they don't always have the best prices. It's like that anywhere. I like to buy locally so I can see what I'm buying. and no shipping cost.

As a rule, I have never found Midway's regular prices to be particularly low. In addition, I don't like their shipping costs.
I try to find what I need at Graf's, as their prices may be slightly higher, but shipping is free. So it works out in the long run. But the difference in price you found is significant!!

That why you surf the net and compare prices between Midway,Midsouth Shooters Supplies,Graff and Sons,Natchez Shooters Supplies,Cabelas and many more to find the best deal. I normally shop local but sometimes they don't have what I need and sometimes they take forever seems like to get what you need. I just ordered a box of Berger 150gr. 270 cal. bullets from Midway and will be here today.

I used to do all my business with Midway, but I have started doing alot with Grafs. I am buying my powder from Powder Valley, and 16 pounds will be here next week.

Midway will stick it to you anytime they can that has been my experience with them;. I buy very little from them anymore

Yeah, I hear you...Brownell's gets a little carried away with prices too, but sometimes they're the only place to find what I want.... so what am I gonna do??
