Default pollmost accurate 30-30 cartridge !please delete dbl!


ive got a marlin336cs with 4x leupold on it and and shooting at 100yds.

i tried remington 170gr corelokt and got poor result!!
next i went to the winchester in 170gr and it got better but not by much.
gonna try going to 150gr. next.
im sure some of you have gone though all the brand and weights!
which brand of ammo and what grain makes your 30-30 a tackdriver??
or at least 2"groups at 100yrds!

I have a Marlin 336 also. I have a cheap tasco scope that I bought becasue I didn't know any better at the time but has never let me down. I shoot the Leverevolutions by Hornady and get 1.25 groups at 100 yards out of it. They are 160 gr. and do a number on deer.
