Default New Shotgun?

Cant decide what to do. Do I get a rifled slug barrel w/ scope mount for my 870 express magor just get an H&R slug hunter? If I were to get an 870 barrel, which one? What will provide the best accuracy? Either will get topped with a high quality scope. I currently have a 20 in smoothbore slug barrel right now, but its not worth a damn past 40-50 yds.

I'd go with the H&R. I have an 870 and bought a fancy rifled barrel for it and it still isn't as accurate as my sons H&R Ultra Slug gun. The slug gun has the trigger pull of a rifle while the 870 will always have the pull of a shotgun, which is more stout for a jerk instead of a squeeze. I was told I could have the trigger filed down but it would never become the same as that of a rifle.

I would go with the 12 Ga H&R. However with hot loads, it will get your attention. They are not to heavy.
