ok lets say the govt. is getting harder on gun control and ar style firearms
would you go to a dealer to buy a non hunting gun
be it home defense or a ar15 or what ever just not a bolt action hunting gun
or go through a under the table no one knows you buy say at a flea market
I mean a legal sale

sounds good to me the only thing i hate about buying guns from a person is there usasly used and you never know who used them for what

thats why, to be safe swap out the barrel and hammer or firing pin.... will give you new, clean ballistic history :-) meltdown the old parts

I would prefer not to go thru an FFL, less paper work the better, but I don't even know if that is allowed in IL, I think you (as a seller) are supposed to keep the other guy's FOID number and other stupid crap for 10 years, but I have never bought or sold Face-to-face with a non-dealer...
I go thru the FFL. If the day comes that big brother comes to collect them, I'll give them up. Then I'll restock on the black market. If I'm forced to be a criminal, I don't plan on being caught.
