Default Composite stock cleaner(s)?

My Ruger M77 "All Season" composite stock is very hard to clean.
Any suggestions?
I've used Simple Green, dawn, various other cleaners, and even ascotch brite pad. I really don't want to scratch it up, but there is still a grimmy feel and look to the hard-to-get-to corners and grip area.

Any magic product out there that has succeeded for yous guys?

I think it's just the nature of the beast. It will never feel like a smooth wood finish.

Try some acetone or finger nail polish remover .Then wipe it down with an oily rag. When I put the camo tape on my compositem stocks and leave it for a year or two.It removes all of the glue residue. Does a pretty good job.

Really? I'd be afraid the acetone would react to the stock material. I have used various solvents, and expecially like turpentine, but still no luck.
