Default Kwik-Site scope mount . . .?

Anyone ever use one of these on their Winchester 94?
It is the scope mount base and rings that comes off the side of the action so as to let the cartridge eject.
I'm sure you'd need a scope with long eye relief . . . But does it maintain shooting accuracy out to 150 - 200 yards or more?
I don't see where it should make a difference whether a scope is 1.5" above the barrel. or above and next to the barrel.(?)
I don't need to hear about how the model 95=4 30-30 is a 100 yard gun, I know. BUt there are at least a couple cart's out there that I shoot will be effective at thise distances so I'm thinkingt about putting a scope on it. Like the Hornady Leverevolution, and the Remington Accelerator.

I've got the side mount on my mod. 94, You'll have to mount the scope on so the left to right adj. is up and the up and down adj. is faceing the left so the shells will eject with out hitting the caps on scope.

Does that reverse the adjustments? Verticle is now windage and visa-versa?

Yes, I tried it mounted the normal way and the ejected shells hit the scope , and I have other Rifles I hunt with, I just like shooting the 30-30 with a scope. Most Old Timers will give you crap though...LOL
