I'm looking at a Marlin 1894 in .44mag; it's used and i'm told it's on fairly good condition.

I've go the same gun,very accurate and a hell of a brush gun,no recoil.I gave $100 and a new england handi rifle in 270 for mine.

According to my bluebook which is 8 yrs. old, they madeseveral different models of the 1894's. If this is all that you can find, Model 1894
100% 400.
90% 195.
70% 145.
Most of these models average out to about the same money. But if you have 1 of the limited models, there worth around a grand at 100%.
