Default Next Question?

Does anyone own a BSA Sweet .223? How do you like it? Is it junk? Do you need a college education to operate it?

Thanks Bryan

Default RE: Next Question?

I have the Cabelas Tactical, basically the same idea as the BSA, it is super simple to operate. Just find the right turret for the load your shooting and range the target, then turn the turret to the correct yardage. I would recommend the Cabelas over the BSA, just because I bet Cabelas would stand behind it better. I have the 6-18x40, if I buy another it would be the 3-12.

Cabela's actually sells both, so if you bought either one from them they would stand behind it equally well. And BSA itself has excellent customer service.

I have looked through both recently and the Cabela's model seemed a bit nicer to me. I am not overly impressed with the Sweet line of scopes from BSA. They have a few scopes that are not bad for the money, but I personally do not believe the Sweet scopes are among them.

When you think about it though, that is a lot of features for a sub $200 scope. I think you would be better off just getting a regular scope with lots of adjustment range for a bit more money. You would most likely end up with better optics.

if you go to cabelas and look at their scope read the customer review. you might be suprised with what you read and do like Paul said. but if you look at www.bestofthewest.netthey have a scope made by huskyma(bad spelling) that sounds real good.
