Whats wrong with another choice? Sounds like a Savage 110 w/accutrigger, accept the Marlin will be less expensive. I dont see anything wrong with this. In fact I beleive its good competition.

No doubt we have an oversupply of low cost rifles but the ball is dropped on a lot of higher priced stuff.

Now that Marlin is bought out by Remington, it will be a remington. A shame to see marlin have to sell out.
