Default Camo Dipping a Shotgun

I am looking to have a Tikka combination shotgun (12 ga/.222), scope and rings dipped. Does anyone know of a company preferably here in the East that does this that you'd recommend?

Thanks,
Jim

There's a company called Tarjac in Waterloo NY...but for some reason their website is gone...Here is a telephone number for them: (315) 539-8524...I hope they haven't gone out of business cause I'd heard great things about them...[:-]

ive used this company for several guns and some other items. they have the best prices and turn around time. they also have the license to do all the cool real tree and other famous patterns while some dippers dont and use there own patterns. tell bob- joe from new joisey sent you. http://www.duracoatinc.com/

Has any company stepped up to the plate and offered a home kit yet? I have issues with sending my guns out for someone else to do anything to them, let alone through mail order.

tell bob i sent you and it may be even cheaper. i have had a bunch of stuff done . looks as good as any store bought gun. although it is durable and does rust proof it will wear if dinged or roughed up. just like the finish on a compound bow only they put a clear coat to make it tougher. if your looking for a tougher finish that you can do at home there is a 2 part coating called duracoat (different company than the dipping company i mentioned) http://www.lauerweaponry.com/duracoa...p;Category=220

the real tree (HD) high definition green is my favorite. it looks like a photo of the woods imprinted on your gun. the hardest part is picking the color.

Tarjac - as I understand it Gander Mountain sends customer guns to them for their services and its basically the same price without shipping charges. This works well for me as I have local GM stores.
