Default braking in a new rifle

can i get some veiws on braking in a brand new rifle/slugshotgun?
I heard if letem cool after each shot aint good!

I don't beleive I've ever heard of anyone breaking in a slug gun, but if you do a search on here you'll find plenty of opinons on breaking in barrels. Somefeel it's important, others feel it's a waste of time. You'll also find dozens of methods of doing it.
