Default Good old Santa.

Well Santa or should I say Mrs Santa dropped off a New Malin Cowboy in 45-70 last night. Nine rounds of 45-70 should handle about anything that walks, runs or crawls..

I also made the choice on the 308 and 270. I took the wife's advice and just picked them both. I have the Browning 308 but today I picked out a new 270 Camo stocked Remington SPS. I almost went with the CZ but after a lot of thought, Remington has been awful good to me. Having owned 50-70 Rem 700 rifles, I have never had to have one repaired or replaced or any problem at all. Its hard more me to not stick with them. The 270? Is it better than the 308? Probably not put in my hunting lifetime, nothing ever hit with the 270 has ever not went down and stayed down. Or maybe its just the O'Connor Syndrom.

A while back in a several gun trade deal, my old 270 went down the road. Its replacement is on the way. Good hunting guys and enjoy a very happy new year. Glad to have visited with you for another year.

Glad to see Mrs Clause is treating you well!

Santa delivered 2 toys to me this year.A matched set of Browning Buckmark Campers with Stainless, and the URX grips. Funny thing is, Santa used my checkbook to pay for them
