Default good early planning or am i obsessed with hunting

i did my 08 hunting list plan to start buying it all around June

boots cold weather camo
a ml blind and some other stuff come out to around 700 bucks for everything i am sure it will go up i did not include scent kill soap scent the little cheap stuff
am i being obsessed since i am already thinking of next season and technically this one ant over
or do all us dedicated hunters do this or do i need to let up alittle
i think part of it goes to this was my third out of 4 years hunting all with out a kill but i did miss a few time including a nice 9 point on public land

You wait till June to start?

I usually start mine right after season closes, when all the toys go on clearance.

Most of my stands and blinds will be in the woods by June, feeders included.

well i got to pay my property taxs anddo alittle work on my house and by a little i mean insulate wire dry wall and finish my 1200 top floor and add a tiled bath room and add a kitchen up there lol just a little work
then i get to start buying my stuff

Its never to early,I start right after the season is over i like to be prepared as early as possible.

well my first buy will be a muzzleloader but i got a shotgun for xmas could of had the ml but had to have a shotgun till theday after and i found out ml season was not over till dec 23

Im always getting new hunting stuff. We got to Cabelas 2 times a year (right before hunting season and right before Trout season) and im always getting hunting stuff when im saposed to be getting fishing stuff.

Yeah I can sure understand how the home repairs have to come first, I've got some of that going on myself.

But yeah, pretty much any time I have some free time on a weekend I'll be in the woods, trimming shooting lanes, keeping stands up, sowing food plots, or something similar.
