Default Benelli R1

Does anybody own the Benelli R1, if so, how do you like it, comfortable? Good Shooter? Gimme Your thoughts.

They feel great..beautiful pointing rifle. I believe they are the lightest autoloader out there. The looks I guess you have to aquire a taste. I don't know anyone personally that owns one and I don't think they have sold a bunch of them either.

I love the look, thanks for the info. And its awesome to carry around a gun that has bullets in it that weigh more than the gun itself

One of the benefits it has over other autoloaders is the removable barrel. That is a nice feature, I saw one last year with an absolute beautiful piece of wood on it and I should have bought it but I didn't . I would purchase one in 30-06. I checked the triggers out and the one I played with had a great trigger the other not so great so you may want to look at a few if possible before buying.

I bought one for my Dad last year and it feels and shoots great. We haven't work up a load for it yet, but factory ammo shoots good.
