Default Dove Hunting

I went Dove Hunting today with my Benelli Montefeltro 20 gauge. I went 8/250.... it is the lightest, most comfortable gun out there, i shot an entire case and didnt even get my limit! (An off day to say the least)

Wellllll......sounds like you may need a little practice. I never was much of a wing shot until I started shooting trap. After some time and expense at that, I made some of the best shots on doves imaginable. Just get some practice. The gun is important, naturally, but constant shooting with it and someone to help you is the best by far. Got a range nearby??

It's tough to judge a gun's performance on a single outing of dove hunting. Especially if it is after opening day. Them little rascals dip and dive and can be tough to hit.
