I noticed that Sako changed the rate of twist on the 260 Rem. For the model 75 they had it listed at 9" and now for the new model 85 they have changed it to 8" . It"s now the same as the 6.5 x 55. How much of a difference would this make? Would the new twist be better suited for heavier bullets?...
yep, the 8 twist is better suited for the 140 gr bullets up to the 156 gr. but even if you shoot the lighter 100-120 gr pills you won't see any difference in the accuracy.
a slightly overstabilized bullet is way, way better than a slightly understabilized one.
