Default ammo for testing a problem on a 30-06

I been having problems with my savage 30-06, which I found I need to refloat the barrel, new scope mount and rings, and scope it self.

I was trying to get some 150 gr federals from walmart for $11, they are out. only thing they had at that price was 180 gr. I am not much into recoil. (bad right shoulder) but i am going to just fire them off to find if there anymore problem I need to address.

I do reload, but I have not really worked up any loads yet.

Should I go on and get them, wait till they get 150 grs back in, or just shoot the reloads?

I would like some ideas on this, it is killing me having a savage 110e that is not shooting right [:@]

Thanks,

Default RE: ammo for testing a problem on a 30-06

If you have handloads in 150 grn. how long does it take to verify??? I always load 3 for testing...just use your own!
