Default 30.06 light loads??

Does anyone know what are the lightest loads a person can purchase. Think i've seen Winchester loads down as far as 125 gr. Seen any lower??

And what impact will it have on my point of impact.

Right now the rifle I shot is sighted in for 2 inches high at a 100 yards. With a lighter load will it shot higher or lower?

The reason im asking as I would like t take my rifle out and bag some yotos with it. you know 400 to 500 yards out!!

Any suggestion?

I am way behind on my factory ammo facts. Remington use to make a 30-06 load with a plastic sabot and a 55 grain bullet at about 4000 fps. I don,t know if they still make them or not. Another thing to check would be to see if Hornady might have a varmit load in thier custom ammo dept. Maybe a V-max load. You can check out Hornady ammo online.

James is right, remington use to make a 55grn bullet called an accelerator but i don't know if they still do. Hornady makes a 110grn v-max for the 30 cal but i've never loaded any or tried them before although i hope to in the near future. I currently load and shoot the Hornady 130grn Spire Point behind 52grns of imr 4064 for deer with excellent results. I'm sighted in about 3"high at 100yds, 1"high at 200yds, dead on at 250yds and it drops about 4 to 5" at 300yds. I haven't shot much past that so i don't know what it will do beyond 300yds.
