Wanted a .22 magnum or a 17 HMR for yotes!

From your name, I would assume you had looked at the Mossberg 817 .17 HMR it can be had new at Dick's for under 150! It has a 5 round clip and is a bolt action. The only problem I have had with mine is when I tried hollow points in it they caught on the front of the Mag and didn't feed well. Went to polymer tips and it rocks all day long. A nice $150 7.62 mm SKS will tear them up also. Bit more penetration though.

DUNHAMS has savage 17hmr for $139 on a regular basis, they also carry the BSA sweet 17 bdc scope as well for $139, very nice combo. the 17 is great to 300yds no wind, although 22mag is good round for those distances I prefer the 17.

I have a Marlin 22 mag with 3x9 simmons scope mounted. I fired maybe a box of ammo with the rifle and then cleaned it and put it back in the case because I love my shotguns. Make offer and I would be more than willing to ship free of charge.
