Laser Bore Sighting

Has anyone ever used a Laser Bore Sighter and had success? How accurate are they?

A friend of mine has one and we've bore sighted a couple of my slug guns and my muzzleloader. Seemed to work fine getting you close. We bore sighted, set a target up at 25 yards and went from there. Saves you a few bucks in the long run with the price of good ammo these days. Sorry I don't recall the brand but it will work up to 50 caliber then he bought the rubber spacers for up to 12 gauge shotguns.

Just had another thought. Go to Cabelas and Bass Pros web sights. Look up the the bore sighters they sell and read the product reviews from folks that have bought them. That should give you more info on different brands. Good luck

They will get you on the paper (ONLY) then you need to sight the gun in with real loads you plan on using in the field.
