Default hawkeye

does anyone own or had any experience with the ruger m77 hawkeye? I like the feel and look and am hoping to get one.also, does anyone know anything about their accuracy?

hear tell its the samegreat Ruger technology but with an excellent trigger...the LC6 ..I believe.....Rugers have been and remain great rifles.....but as with all new gunz..Time and field will tell

They are nice, solid rifles. The "new" trigger is better but still not great. Accuracy wise, it will suffice for it's intended purpose... a hunting rifle. I came real close to getting one in 25-06. It shot quite well, but I ended up going in another direction. Love the 3 position safety and even the stock! If it fits you and the price is within your reach, I'd say go for it. You could do alot worse. Good luck.

Hawkeye = old MK II with a beadblasted finish,steel floorplate,upgraded trigger and a redesigned stock. It should shoot no worse or better then a older MK II.s
