Default Remington LSS or CDL

Any opinions on these two stocks. If one is better than the other. I have heard that the LSS (Laminated Stock Stainless) stock is more sturdy and weather resistant than the satin finished walnut stock on the CDL.

Default The BDL LSS rules!!!

The 700 BDL LSS (not to be confused with the Mountain LSS)is definitely MUCH better than the CDL. The 700 BDL LSS has a grey laminated stock that uses a clear coating that greatly improves its resistance to moisture.

Also, most LSS rifles have stainless actions/barrels.

The 700 BDL LSS is my all-time favorite Remington rifle!!!

Default RE: The BDL LSS rules!!!

I have heard it is a better stock and also read in some forums on here that the stainless barrel is better also. I am looking for a REM 700 LSS...right now but not having any luck. They are apparently out of production this year and out of stock in most shops I checked into. I am looking at buying the mountain version for now. I like the nostalgic look of the CDL and would like to own one of those also. I pretty much see myself having a few guns anyway.

Laminates are stronger than reg wood and most factory synthetics.
