Can any of the gun show crowd give me an idea what the going rates for SKS's are?

Depends on the condition and origin. For the Chinese made I wouldn't pay over $125. For like new I would say the Russians' and Yugo's are your best bet and should run $150 to $250.

I'd concur on those prices.

I have seen them from $150 to as much as $300 at the gun shows around here . There is one local dealer that had some for $350 that I was looking at a few days ago . Its hard to believe how much they sell for now ,I bought my first one for $62 plus shipping.
