Default Factory ammo question..

I have been shooting Rem CoreLokts for a few years now. Only because i can find it for cheap and my gun seems to like it. However, i have been finding federal and winchester on sale as well around here for even less on sale. $8 for 30.06...

I am just looking for advice on, if i use factory ammo, does anyone have a feeling of which brand is best or are they so similar it doesn't really matter as long as i sight in with the ammoi am going to use?

which brands do you prefer? Is Rem better then Federal or....???

You should experiment on what shoots best out of your rifle. Im using Winchester Super X Power points. I know its not gonna give me the best groups but it is what i could find for cheap for a last minute hunt. Im gettin 1.25in groups at 100 yards. IM gonna experiment this spring to see what shoots best.

I've killed deer with all of them out of my .243...Have killed more with CoreLokts than any others, but they all work...As mentioned the most important thing is what your gun shoots the best...

Remington, Federal, and Winchester all manufacture excellent centerfire rifle ammunition.

I have been getting the olderFederal "HI-Shok" ammunition for severalyears to use in my 30-06.. The 180gr loading of this brand delivers MOA., in my in my rifle, and has taken three elk with athority.

Do what Retaks said. Use the load that shoots best in your gun. For a non-premium bullet the Corelokt isvery reliable.
