i just received my ne shooting catalog from Cabelas and I am trying to pick out a 44 Mag. shell (for my Win. 94 lever action)for deer. I noticed this Buffalo Bore Ammo has several to choose from and has good velocity and knockdown. Has anyone had any experiences with this ammo? Man this ammo is NOT CHEAP!
I have never used any Buffalo Bore but they, like Garrett Cartridges, specialize in what you could refer to as +P type ammo for .44 Mag and 45-70 Government. Buffalo Bore may work with more than those two but they are the one's that I have heard about.

make sure the win 94 is on there list of approved firearms. no sense in blowing yourself up. personally id save the money. a 240gr hollopoint out of a handgun will definatly drop them, and out of a carbine the deer doesnt stand a chance
