Default Looking for a remington rifle

I've been looking for a Remington 760 carbine rifle (not the 7600) for a while nowand I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites or storesI could use tocheck for it. I really want to buy a 30-06 or a .308 hopefully in time for this year's deer season. I've checked gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com, and a couple other places and can't find a 760 carbine. If anyone could give me some info about where I might be able to find one of these guns I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

The latest issue of Gun Digest has several of what you are looking for. You may want to try www.gundigestmagazine.com. If you can't get through to what you want, PM me and I'll send you descriptions, prices, and ph. nos.

Grice Gun Shop
Clearfield PA

Pennsylvania's largest gun dealer.

At one time, most of the Remington Gamemasters sold were sold out of Grice Wholesale.

Well, I see TONS of 22" barreled 760's for sale in vbarious calibers. But the 18.5" barreled 760 carbines were produced in limited numbers, and are rare. The couple I've seen for sale went for about 3X as much as the sme gun with a 22" barrel. For example, here on Gunbroker......

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=84699437

If you really want a short one for practical uses (not as a collector's item) buy a rifle, trim itto 18.5", and remouint the front sight!

The ad says: M-760 Pump action , 308 carbine, 2 magazines, micro dot red dot sight, mint condition, $500+shipping. Ph. 623-544-4744, MST, 8AM-9PM.
Out of Gun Digest, Nov.26, 2007 issue. Call if you want.... Several others listed, this is the only one that describes it as acarbine.............Do what you want.........Don.
