S&W MDL 29 QUESTION
I have been wanting to try a red dot sight on my Mdl 29 for some time. My question is whether it will mount directly to the groove on the top of the frame or if some gun smithing will be required to install it? Thanks in advance.

There are 3 companys selling no-gunsmithing(drill & tap) mounts for your model 29. The best known is B-square.
