Does anyone have any pictures of the AM line of cartridges? I was just curious what they look like, I can't find any pics on the net... That .257 AM sounds pretty awesome...

Jeep, try a PM to Ridge Runner, he has a 7mm allen. From what I can tell they are based off a improved 338 Lapua case which is essentially a shortened 416 Rigby case with a beefed up web area. The 338 Lapua can take some serious pressure.

Jeep, all allen magnum and allen express cartridges are based on just about all you can get from a certain bullet diameter.
The 277, 7mm, allen mag and the 300 allen express are based on the 338 lapua mag.
They all get the kirby treatment, sharp shouldered, and min. body taper.
Here is a list of the parent cartridges for the different allen cartridge designs

. The 7mm AM is shorter then I was expecting. Now if my brother in law sells me his 700 long action then I might have another project to look forward too...

Yeah its blued. It is actually a decent 30/06 that he got because some guy owed him money.
