I have a 3 year old Tar-Hunt DSG (designated slug gun) for sale in 12ga. 3" mag. The "DSG" designation refers to the fact that Tar-Hunt fitted a 'non-removable' (except by gunsmith) custom fit Shaw rifled slug barrel toa brand newRemington 870 express magnumreceiver. This barrel is not field stripable and has a one-to-one fit with the receiver for the best possible accuracy. The barrelhas a matte black metal finish, it measures 23 inches in length andis fitted with a muzzle brake. Tar-Huntdrilled and tapped the receiver for a set of custom made Leupold two-piece windage bases made expressly for Tar-Hunt for this DSG conversion. Tar- Hunt completeda trigger job and as measured by a lyman digital scale, it breaks at a crisp 3.4 lbs. of pressure. The guns best group came from shooting Remington Core Lokt Ultra 385gr. sabot slugs into a 1.5" cloverleaf at 100yds. Sighting in2" high at 100yards, the gun shoots right on at 150 and about 6" low at 200. I paid$900 (scope not included)plus shipping and tax and will sell it for$500 delivered without the scope.
