Have you shooters heard of the Estate Cartridge Company? I saw some prices of their ammo in a Scott's Outdoors catalog that were very reasonable. The shotgun shells were as low priced as I have seen and the rifle ammo was priced very good also. I was just wondering about the quality as well.
Some of the guys at the trap club are using the Estste shotshells, they seem to be OK. I think for clay targets, doves, quail etc they will be OK. Can't say about the rifle ammo. I seem to remember hearing that Estate was bought by Federal, I don't know if that's true.
Thanks Bob for the information. If Federal bought this company then they should be putting out some good ammo. The rifle shells were like $10.00 a box and the shotshells were like $5.00 for high powered loads. I reload my own rifle shells but I may try the shotshells for dove and crow since they are cheap.
