I have had trouble locating a bolt for a 1958 Marlin 39A Golden lever action .22. I have searched for 7 years, tried a couple I thought would work and couldn't get them to fit. I am thinking i can get another 39A and re-fit but can't seem to find any. Anybody know of any sites were I might be able to buy an old 39A or bolt for a '58?
why wouldn't the other bolt work? seems to a any competant smith could get ya up and running. numrich is sold out of both the old style extrator and new style for the early model 39's, but you may place an order anyway and they'll ship it when/if they get it.

I had it at the gun smiths for 7 years, I finally went and got it a few months ago as he couldn't get the repair complete. He re-did the stock and the gun needs blued, but not until I get it up and working correctly.
Need to find a rifle, where to go?
