TC Encore smoothbore????

I have a 12 gauge smoothbore turkey barrel for my Encore. I bought a rifled choke and want to shoot sabot slugs thru it. Do I run the risk of damaging the barrel shooting slugs? Will shooting slugs impact the barrel when I go back to using it for turkey hunting?

No it won't hurt anything to shoot slugs from rifled tube. You can rest assured that your barrel won't be hurt.
