Ditto what Millerhunter13 said, IMHO no better rifle for the money. I also love single shots. I have the H & R Ultra slughunter deluxe 12 gauge, and a H & R Ultra Varminthunter in .223 (converted to .22-250). Both are superb rifles. Buy one of these rifles, and for a few addtional dollars, you can purchase other caliber barrels.

I used to have a NEF handi rifle in 30-06 and loved wished i never sold it. Now i find myself really wanting another one bad. In fact i seriously believe i will be buying another this year, probably in .308 or 7mm/08. They are great little guns, easy to carry, come up good, shoot good. Its also a very affordable rifle and the extra barrels are very reasonably priced. Alot of my friends are going to single shots, mostly TC encores, which are amazing guns, but you pay big bucks for one and then every time you want another barrel you pay several hundred dollars again. For the same price you can have a handi rifle with 4-5 barrels. I will defitently have another one.

I have several of them and they have been worth the money for sure. I have had many of them over the years all have shot pretty well although some need a litle tweaking with the forend.

Are you sure about that? I thought there were some restrictions to caliber
