Default Reduction in Number of Posts???

I've noticed now that on 2 occasions the number of posts I was credited with suddenly dropped. A few months ago my number of posts dropped from one day to the next by about 20. Now again within the last day or two my number of posts again dropped by about 20. This is not a big deal but I'm curious why it's happening and if anyone else has experienced this? Anyone shed some light on this?? gg.

Saw a similar posting on the Deer Hunting forum. The moderator explained that it was a byproduct of having a system problem. I don't believe that any actual message are lost, but the counters are set back a bit. You may have noticed that the counter reflects is a live balance count of postings, even on old postings. Apparantly the number of posts is part of the user record, not the message record.

Happens every now and again, probably a glitch in the database code.

Get used to it. It happened to me about 5 times.

I only read to learn and post to try to help someone,so numbers don't interest me.
I thought I knew a little about guns till I started reading this board.Keep it up fellows and ladies.
