Slugs for H&R and mossber guns

I am getting a 20 ga. H&R tracker 2 slug gun barrle and my dad has a mossberg 20 ga, and i wanted to know what people shoot with those guns, because i am need to buy ammo before season.

I had the Mossberg 500 in 20ga. it loved Lightfields, I should be getting my H&R Ultra Deluxe in 20ga. this week, from what I hear they love the Hornady Slugs and the Winchester Gold Partitions, but of course I will have to try numerous brands and grains to see which slug works best

thanks, i will look for those this weekend at gander mountain, and also how many should i get i was thinking of getting winchester and hornady's for the slug gun, and lightfield and i already have some winchester slugs, should i get only 5 of each or how many would you reccomend?

No, mine was rifled, so with your father's barrel being a smoothbore, you would have better results using foster type slugs (rifled slugs) try the Brennekees
