Midland bought out Parker Hale and continued to cheapen the line. If you want a nice rifle, find an old PH Super Safari(model 1200)circa 1970. They pop up on GA and GB from time to time.....very nice rifles and can be purchased for around 500 dollars in excellent condition. The Midland line is pretty sorry IMHO. Good luck and regards, Rick.
