Okay thats cool. Why the Beretta over the Benelli? I have always thought the Berettas were bulky, heavy, and not really as nice as the Benelli autos...

FYI-

You don't need to go through a distributor as Benelli parts can be bought through Brownells. They have a whole section in their catalog.

I have a benelli and for the life of me cannot figure why you want to switch to beretta.

Benelli has a small diameterbore .723, shooting BBB and T does not pattern aswell for that reason. Beretta on the other hand has an overbored barrel .733that is .010 bigger than benelli. As you know the difference between BB and BBB is .010 which explains why the Beretta patterns better with BBB than Benelli. It's even more important with 3.5 shells and high volumelead (turkey loads)shot because the tighter constriction damages more pellets.

Now I could send the gun off to the many companies who lenthen the forcing cone and overbore barrels but itis cheeper to buy a beretta. Semonole Gunworks has specialized thison benelli for the exactreason I have stated.Beretta figured this out and introduced the Extrema IIand Benelli is behind the curve, with the addition of the EU going to lead free shot, benelliwill become prone to even worse patterns or have to introduce larger diameter bore.

Oh don't forget the orginal reason, 100.00 for a recoil pad to change the LOP when Beretta has spacers that come with the gun to change the LOP.
