Default High Standard AR-15 ?

I went to the gun shop today to order my daughters Christmas present (a new Rossi tripple play) and saw the new High Standard AR-15's. They look pretty nice and are about $100 less than the same Bushmaster. $779 for the M4 fixed carry handle. They have a very liberal lay-a-way. I've wanted another AR and think It would be a good idea to get one before next November. Hear anything good or bad ? The salesman says they are as good as any of the others the only downside would be re-sale.

Default RE: High Standard AR-15 ?

yep, another parts house gun, but then again, they're all parts house guns except OLY, Oly and RRA have a lifetime warranty. 779 is alot for an m-4gery you can get a kit from model 1 for about 510, then 80-100 for a stripped lower, so they make169.00 an hour to build one. takes about an hour to assemble a lower
