Markings on back of holster, hard to read due to a double stamp but it's dated 1944 lower left is the Nazi stamp, top right obviously is the P-38 stamp.

You sure do have a lot of interesting guns. Hopefully my collection will be that big someday.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Why?

I think I know your answer but I'm curious.

Edit: Yes, I have plenty of big safe(s)

Ok bigJ... reach in and pull me out one of the following.... a 1903A4.... or your favorite old American (or English if you roll that way) fowling shotgun... make it a Parker, a LC, a 21, an A-5 your choice.

I'm really liking your threads sir. Its sort of like a pinyata... you never know whats inside, but its probably good!

Ok SwampCollie......I'll do my best.

1st I don't have an 03A4 (I wish) I've held a couple that were for sale but was not sure on their authenticity so I didn't pull the trigger (pun intended) a true 03A4 (sniper rifle) is a true rare bird indeed.

So you will just have to settle for a Smith Corona 03A3. The barrel is original to the receiver as are all of the parts with the exception of the stock. Above it as I'm sure you know is an M1 Garand.

FYI:The bayonet below is the one my father carried in Korea. He was able to bring it back, he had it chromed and thesheath chromed and painted.

The A-5 is an easy one as I love older Brownings...

Here is one of a few Browning A-5's I have. It's a Light Twenty combo with slug barrel (not pictured)
