The high energy loads do produce impressive velocity although many guns do not produce what federal claims.They are also not very accurate in some guns.If they shoot well in your gun they may be an option to consider if you want to gain a little velocity.
Not in my opinion ,I load all of my ammo and have found that faster doesn't always mean more accurate .I also prefer barnes bullets for my hunting rounds .I don't know that they are any better but they work for me for a lot less than the cost of the high energy ammo.
