I reload 25-06 for less than $7/box. I shoot less than 200rds/yr in that rifle, also shoot around 200rds/yr in 22-250 for around $4/box, and less than 100/yr of 7 mag, for about $8/box. Because I can reload for such an affordable price, I can get the quality of $25-35/box ammo for less than the cheapest factory ammo.

I'm a hand loader too . $5.00 38s $6 for 357s $4 9mm $7 3006' . 2 dollars more if I buy new brass . If I buy new ammo its on sale name brand for the brass . Exception is shotshells costs me $5.60 - 7 per box to load . Thelast couple years I've bought PMC's for ducks ,chucker and dove at 30-50 a case . I can't load them for that I save the handloads for late ducks the cheapos get a little lame under 30 degrees.

Reload some and the rest I buy whatever shoots best in the particualr gun. if it's the cheap bulk stuff, fine, if it's the more costly stuff, so be it.
